Project Relight aims to create a series of high quality car sequences.
*Fab assets used for Environment.
*Car rigged with CCR.
Everything is rendered in real time.

Vertex painting with custom material blueprints. Used to achieve the dirty look of the junkyard ground.


Each pile is parented under empty actors for ease of placement, which makes the environment easy to art direct.

The car, camera, and FX elements were animated in Sequencer.

Car's animated light is achieved using a emissive material refracted by a transparent material.

WIP:PROJECT EUREKA
I recently started "Project Eureka," a personal project to practice and showcase my skills in Unreal Engine 5. Although the project is currently in its early blockout stages, the more polished sections serve as a clear benchmark for the final vision.



Here's a vertex painting material blueprint I created for this project. It allows for 5 different materials to be blended together with adjustable settings for each material attribute. In addition to vertex blending, you could also adjust the overall height of each layer for blending.
This blueprint allows me to work with existing nanite ready texture sets and create believable blended materials right in engine.
